Access Statement for the Manor Heath Hotel

 

The Manor Heath is a small family run hotel.

  • On arrival to the property there is a tarmaced drive to car parking area for eight cars on the level. There is one step leading to the front door. The front door has double opening doors.
  • On the ground floor there is the dining room, bar and guest lounge area. The public toilet is on the same level.
  • Bedrooms 1-8 are up 11 steps which are 14cms in depth.
  • Bedrooms 9-18 on the second floor are up a further 13 steps which are 14 cms in depth.
  • Sadly we do not have any ground floor bedrooms or the facility of a lift.
  • Help will always be offered with luggage.
  • There is a public payphone in the main Reception and a staff bell to alert the owners in the event of an emergency during the night. Telephone numbers for doctors are available. The mobile coverage for this area is good for most networks.
  • Menus are printed in a large font. All baths and showers have hand held shower heads and we can supply anti slip mats. We can if required hire a wheelchair.
  • If you require more assistance for evacuation in case of fire, please notify us on arrival and we will ensure you are evacuated safely. e.g. hearing or sight impairment.
  • With the nature of the building mean that it is impossible to make the first and second floors fully accessible.
  • We request that anyone wishing to make a booking or enquiry, inform us of any special needs or disabilities that they may have in order for us to meet any personal requirements.
